Irena Bojadzievska is a holder of a PhD degree in e-Governance. She holds a Master degree in law (LLM) in International and European Law from the VUB University in Brussels. She is a lawyer with a 17 years of experience in legal drafting and policy creation in the process of EU integration. She has participated in harmonization of numerous laws and bylaws with the EU acquis and drafting of national strategies in line with the EU best practices. Her EU experience is derived from the work in the Secretariat for EU affairs in Macedonia where for 9 years she was involved in legal approximation, institution building and interinstitutional coordination of the Committee and Subcommittees for Stabilization and Association. She has further advanced her EU policy creation skills in the Ministry of Information Society and Administration (2012-2015) and the Agency for Audio and Audiovisual Media Services (2015-2017). During this period she was a trainer for the Government EU integration process and an OSCE trainer on legal drafting and approximation.
She has worked since as a national and international expert and consultant, including a key expert position in an EU international project and consultant in several international projects.
She is working as a lawyer in her law firm and is an assistant professor at the University American College Skopje.
