The functional analysis of the patronage activity in the territory of the city of Skopje provided numerous benefits for the institution responsible for the implementation of the services. Some of the most significant benefits are: determining the appropriate organization and systematization of the workplaces in the institution needed to realize the competences and strategic priorities, improving the effectiveness of the institution, reducing or expanding the scope and size of the institution, assessment of the necessary spatial, financial and human resources resources, elimination of non-essential functions, balancing the structural arrangement with the performed functions, as well as enabling the process of creating an organizational culture.
The purpose of the process of conducting a functional analysis of the polyvalent patronage activity, which is organized within the framework of the Health Center - Skopje, is to identify the challenges from an organizational and functional aspect, which make it difficult or hinder the realization of the current competencies and tasks, as well as those foreseen by strategic documents, as well as to propose specific measures to improve the fulfillment of goals and tasks, aimed at achieving the expected results.
The functional analysis was carried out within the project "Improving the organizational structure of the patronage service" implemented by the Center for Change Management (CCM) as part of the wider program "Mitigating the effects of COVID-19 on the lives of children and parents in the Western Balkans and Turkey" which is implemented with financial assistance from the European Union and with support from UNICEF.
