Vesna Bochvarska, project manager from the Centre for change management attended the 8th CAF (Common Assessment Framework) event, which was held on the 12th of April in Sofia.
The Common Assessment Framework is a model for self-assessment which focuses on improvement of the performances of the organizations from the public sector in Europe, as one of the main results of the European network for public administration (EUPAN).
The use of this model is regarded as an effective approach to the implementation of a number of aspects of the reforms of the public administration as well as a systemic support for the strengthening of the capacities of the public administration.
This year, the 8th even of CAF was held in the Capital of Bulgaria, the country presiding with the Council of the EU, with a strategic ambition to strive for stronger support from the managerial structures and for implementation of this holistic approach to the improvement of the public sector.
The CAF conference was held under the motto “With quality into the future: Consensus, Competitiveness, Cohesion and Culture”. Discussions were held on various topics concerning the implementation and advancement of CAF with speakers from many European countries like: Estonia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Finland, Slovenia, Greece, Spain, Italy, Poland and for the first time on the CAF events, the delegation from Macedonia also participated in the debates.
