Training for Members of Parliament and parliamentary staff on the topic "EU Pre-accession Funds (IPA) – Management and Impact"
Date: 15.09.2026
The Center for Change Management (CCM) organized a training session titled "EU Pre-accession Funds (IPA) – Management and Impact" on September 14 and 15, 2026, as part of the project "PAVE: The Assembly's Voice for Europe."
Members of Parliament and staff of the Assembly of the Republic of North Macedonia had the opportunity to discuss and gain insight into:
- the role of the Assembly in the EU accession process and the oversight of EU funds
- the utilization of EU funds and political expectations
- the functioning and impact of EU funds/the IPA instrument
- practical opportunities for parliamentary oversight of these financial resources.
The goal of this training, and all others organized under the "PAVE: The Assembly's Voice for Europe" project, is to enhance the preparedness of the parliamentary service and MPs for the Assembly's active participation in the EU integration process from various perspectives.
This training was organized with financial support from Sweden through the project "Support for North Macedonia's European Integration," implemented by UNOPS North Macedonia (United Nations Office for Project Services). The content of this activity is the sole responsibility of the Center for Change Management (CCM) and cannot in any way be considered to reflect the views of Sweden or UNOPS.
