Main goal:
Overall Objective: Promoting the principles of good governance (accountability, transparency, participation, effectiveness and coherence) through increased influence of civil society organizations (CSOs) in the process of assessment (evaluation) of public policies and decision making.
Specific objective: Strengthening the capacities of civil society organizations to act as supervisory bodies and regulatory indicator in the preparation of policy and legislative proposals through the use of mechanisms, methods and tools of ex ante and ex post evaluation.
Expected results:
Developed analytical knowledge and skills of CSOs to use the methods and tools to assess the regulatory impact assessment of policies.
Two analysis prepared/ case studies (1 ex ante 1 ex post evaluations) policies and regulations (laws, directives, strategies, laws) in cooperation with state institutions.
The choice of ex ante impact assessment regulations based on the Annual Work Programme of the Government, the strategies of the ministry’s and in accordance with the National Programme for the Adoption of the Acquis (NPAA).
Prepared Document for public policies with findings and recommendations on certain key policies.
