Measures for strengthening women businesses after COVID-19

Author:

year: 2021

The COVID-19 pandemic has caused numerous negative effects on women's businesses across our country. Most women companies are affected by the crisis and are struggling to survive in the market. One of the biggest challenges is the profitability and reduced purchasing power of consumers. Often, women entrepreneurs are present in the micro enterprises, where the capacity and reserves for survival without cash flow is extremely difficult in the long run. Hence, government support for women businesses is needed to overcome the crisis period and provide training for their restructuring or adaptation to new market conditions.

All businesses are forced to adapt to the emerging market situation, and effort should be put for this adaptation. Creating a detailed plan for continuity and forecasting financial flow is an important condition for maintaining ongoing business operations which enables easier recovery of businesses in the post COVID-19 period.

The envisaged steps aim to clarify what women businesses need to anticipate and how to respond to day-to-day changes so that they can control financial flow and establish operational resilience.
