The Center for change management participated today in the panel discussion of the workshop devoted to the main challenges of the reform of the public administration, organized by the SIGMA mission, based on the report for our country for the last year.

Iskra Belcheva – Ristovska, the project manager in CCM, took part in the debate regarding the public services, presenting the findings of the research that our organization has undertaken so far concerning this component of the work of the public administration.

She also presented the recommendations of the Center for change management for improvement of the public services and informed the participants in the workshop that in cooperation with the Ministry of information society and administration, the CCM is working on a project whose main goal is to develop the idea that the public services should be delivered based upon the needs and requests of the citizens and not in accordance with the ideas and goals of the institutions that deliver the services.

More specifically, it’s necessary to find measures for improvement of the delivery of the public services with reduction in the costs and administrative tasks of the citizens, but also to identify the basic services that should primarily be improved and provided electronically.

The coordinator for our country, Miroslawa Boryczka, presented the findings of the SIGMA report for Macedonia, while the measures that the institution are planning to undertake were presented by the Minister of information society and administration, Damjan Manchevski and the Minister of Finance, Dragan Tevdovski.
