On September 30, 2024, UN Women Skopje organized an event where several tools were presented and discussed, including the Sub-Sectoral Gender Analysis and the Guide for Gender Mainstreaming in the Sector. Together with representatives from the Ministry of European Affairs, the Ministry of Public Administration, and other line ministries as well as civil society representatives, we discussed the challenges and opportunities for women's participation in decision-making processes. The topics included the involvement of women in developing public policies and strategies, as well as key factors for the advancement of gender equality, in accordance with the EU Gender Action Plan.
The program coordinator of CCM Iskra Belcheva Ristovska, as a panelist at the event, gave her review of the gender aspect in public administration and in the specific processes of creating policies and budgets.
The Center for Change Management (CCM) has actively supported the Resource Center for Gender Responsive Policymaking and Budgeting since the beginning and has delivered a large number of trainings in the field of the principle of equality and the gender aspect in the processes of policymaking and budgeting for employees in the public sector from several areas.
The Center for Change Management (CCM) continues to actively contribute to the strengthening of gender-responsive policy-making and budgeting.
