On June 18, 2018, a conference was held to promote the Draft Strategy and the Action Plan for Open Data for the period 2018-2020, organized by the Ministry of Information Society and Administration and the Center for Change Management.
The Open Data Strategy defines the strategic goals that will encourage the publication and use of open data. The aim is to increase the transparency and accountability of state institutions, to improve the quality of the services they offer and at the same time to foster innovation and economic development.
The strategy was developed within the framework of the project "Support for the Public Administration Reform Process", supported by the British Embassy, and implemented by the Center for change management.
The expert team for the preparation of the Strategy was led by the Center for change management, while the working group included representatives of state institutions, civil society organizations, the academic and business sectors.
