The Center for Change Management (CCM) within the project "FOSTERING GOOD GOVERNANCE AND PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION REFORM" is conducting a third study on the application of the principle of adequate and fair representation in public institutions.
For this purpose, three focus groups were organized with representatives from the public sector and the civil sector, in order to precisely determine the challenges in the application of this principle. The focus groups were facilitated by the CCM project coordinator Branka Mincheva Kocevska together with legal experts Natalia Shikova and Jugoslav Gjorgievski.
Through the discussions, the practical challenges in the process of applying this principle came to the surface, as well as constructive proposals for its improvement.
The research consists of responses received from over 250 institutions from the public sector, analysis of existing regulations, strategies and documents related to this issue as well as results of the focus groups in question here.
A report from the research conducted to monitor the application of the principle of adequate and fair representation will be published by the end of June 2023 and aims to indicate the real conditions on the ground and propose concrete measures to improve the conditions.
The project "FOSTERING GOOD GOVERNANCE AND PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION REFORM" is implemented by CCM and supported by the National Endowment for Democracy.
