In the past period, the CCM team organized the presentation of two public policy documents to representatives of central institutions.

The first public policy document entitled "Is the rule of law possible with a commercial official gazette?", which analyzes citizens' access to the official gazette of the state and highlights the need to provide free access to current issues of the Official Gazette. The second public policy document refers to the implementation of the open data policy by the state and highlights the need for a systematic approach by the state in publishing open data. This document was presented by Irena Bojadzievska, researcher at CCM.

Both topics are part of a broader policy for transparency in the public sector, which will contribute to enhanced accountability of institutions and citizen involvement in public processes.

The discussion during the event further highlighted the need for a better and coordinated approach of central institutions in planning public resources to ensure better transparency, and in order to strengthen accountability to citizens.

This event is the first in a series of similar events that aim to encourage institutions to make substantial changes to improve their transparency and accountability to citizens.

The public policy documents and the presentation are organized within the framework of the project "Promoting Good Governance and Public Administration Reform", which is implemented by the Center for Change Management (CCM) with support from the National Endowment for Democracy.
