On February 20, 2023, in the premises of the Club of MP's, a press conference was held to present the Guidelines for improving the transparency of public sector institutions together with the Deputy Prime Minister in charge of good governance policies, Slavica Grkovska.
This guide, in addition to an analysis of the law and procedure, also contains an analysis of the most frequently requested public information from institutions in 38 different areas.
This guide provides guidelines and advice for institutions in order to reduce their administrative burden on the one hand and to provide faster and easier access to public information on the other hand.
This document has an open character and should constantly be in step with the current topics and interests of the citizens, so that the institutions will monitor it and update it in a timely manner.
According to the executive director of the CCM Neda Maleska Sachmaroska, this Guideline represents a step in the process of building a culture of transparency, which opens up space for greater control and responsibility of the public administration.
