Public discussion "Future commitments for good governance and public administration reform"

On July 31, 2024, in Holiday Inn Skopje, the Center for Change Management (CCM) in cooperation with the Ministry of Public Administration organized a public discussion on the key challenges faced by public sector institutions in the Republic of North Macedonia.

The purpose of the discussion was, on the one hand, to present the vision and future commitments of the Government in the area of ​​good governance and reforms in public administration, but, on the other hand, to open a broad debate with the professional public, representatives from the institutions and other stakeholders parties to improve the regulation in the field of human resources management in public sector institutions.

Within the framework of the first panel, the Minister of Public Administration, the Minister of Digital Transformation, the Deputy Minister of Economy and Labor and the Deputy Minister of Finance presented the visions and commitments of the Government for the reform of public administration and good management.

Within the framework of the second panel, experts from the professional public (Dr. Neda Maleska, Prof. Dr. Borche Davitkovski, Assoc. MA Konstantin Bitrakov, Mr. Dejan Stojanovski and Prof. Dr. Jove Kekenovski) talked about the solutions of the current challenges in the reform of public administration.

Within the framework of the last panel, the participants, divided into 6 thematic groups, discussed: the Law on Public Sector Employees, the Law on Administrative Officers and the Law on Professional Development and Training of Administrative Officers.
