Research facts – platform for the support of investigative journalism

Center for Change Management and the Institute for Human Rights presented the Platform for cooperation between civil society organizations and media for investigative journalism which is a integrated part of one of the most important results of the project “Investigative journalism – safeguard of democracy and human rights”.

This project is financed by EU and the British embassy in Skopje. On the presentation held today in Hotel Arka Skopje presented were the achieved results with highlight on the platform and web site istrazifakti.org.mk where most of the investigative stories are published.

Exactly 8 civil society organizations were sub-granted threw the project and in cooperation with the media- organization prepared more investigative stories in the form of interviews, printed stories and videos.

 “The most important result from the moment of sub-granting is in fact the creation of the platform for dialog and cooperation between the civil society organization and media. True it is de-facto unique because it is composed of civil society organizations which implement the project and media and cooperate with them. The main goal of the platform is for long term cooperation even after the project has finished” said Iskra Belceva – Ristovska; project Manager in Center for Change Management (CCM).

On today’s presentation presented were video materials as part of the investigative stories , which are as well part of the content on the web page istrazifakti.org.mk.
