Training in the Parliament of the Republic of North Macedonia - Implementation of low value training - e-market v.s. public procurement notice

Within the framework of the Parliamentary Support Program, implemented by NDI North Macedonia, the Center for Change Management and the Institute for Democracy Societas Civilis and supported by the Swiss Embassy in Skopje, training on public procurement was organized and a representative from the Center for Change Management attended this event the financial coordinator was Vesna Gligorova.

The training was facilitated by IT professionals and the Public Procurement Bureau of the Republic of North Macedonia.

Assembly officials participated in the training and discussed the differences between the e-market and public procurement notices, as well as the advantages of the digital economy. The participants got to know in detail the benefits of shopping through the e-market and its basic concepts and functionalities. The members of the assembly service gained knowledge on how to use the e-market, and in practice it was shown how a purchase of small value can be carried out through the e-market.

The key agreements of the event move towards the fact that with the introduction of the electronic system of public procurement of small value, the time of the implementation of the procedure is reduced, easy and simple administration, complete automation of the processes, availability of a catalog of services. Which means that the administrative burden of the institutions is reduced and their efficiency is strengthened.
