Two new web platforms presented to promote openness and digital communication in the legislature

Date: 17.04.2025

Within the framework of the project "Parliamentary Support Program", the Center for Change Management (CCM) together with representatives of the National Democratic Institute (NDI) presented brand new digital platforms for improving openness, communication with citizens and digital processes of the Parliament of the Republic of North Macedonia.

These are the platforms "Digital Bridge" and the Web Platform for Citizen Contact Offices of the Parliament of the Republic of North Macedonia, which were developed in cooperation with the companies Symfonika and Brainster.

These digital solutions are the result of the hackathon entitled "Digital Bridge" which was organized within the framework of the project "Parliamentary Support Program", which united a large group of young digital enthusiasts to develop conceptual solutions for improving the accountability of the Parliament.

The presentation was attended by the Speaker of the Parliament, Afrim Gashi, and the Secretary General of the Parliament, Marina Dimovska, as well as part of the service working in the field of digitalization and communication.

Strengthening the transparency and accountability of the legislative body is extremely important for maintaining the democratic character of the state in times of intense digital transformation of society. Therefore, within the framework of the project "Parliamentary Support Program" CUP together with partners continue to support the Parliament and the service.
