Workshop on participatory budgeting at local level was held yesterday in organization of the Center for Change Management (MCC) in cooperation with the Municipality of Gjorce Petrov, within the project "My money, my responsibility" : Participatory Budgeting in the Municipalities of Macedonia" implemented by the FISCAST network . The workshop was attended by the Mayor Aleksandar Naumoski, the municipal administration, social centers, representatives of schools and the civil sector. The overall goal of the project is to improve the practice and participation of local stakeholders in the local budgeting process and increase the efficiency of spending municipal money. The subject of the discussion were budgetary processes, civic participation in policy-making at the local level, obligations and rights of the municipality and citizens, participatory budgeting and monitoring and evaluation processes. #fiscastnetwork
