CCM at the OECD Global Forum on Building Trust and Strengthening the Democratic Agenda

CCM Executive Director Neda Maleska Sacmaroska and CCM Finance Director Vesna Bochvarska Cvetkovska participate in the OECD Global Forum on Building Trust and Strengthening the Democratic Agenda

One of the topics of the OECD Global Forum 2024 is the issue that needs to be decided to strengthen the trust of authorities in public institutions.

Emphasis was also placed on the following topics:

• Democracy cannot be imposed, you have to own it;

• Governments need to demonstrate accountability and deliver results on crime;

• Citizens must feel that government and institutions benefit them and work for them.

• Those who lead institutions must demonstrate the highest level of institutional ethics and are integrated – believers must see and trust that those who lead institutions work for control, not for themselves;

• Administrative institutions and experts in the public sector control and reflect

• Citizens must strengthen their capacities to be retained, propose, shape and be part of reforms

• Governments and institutions must reflect the structure of society, and different groups (youth, women, other ethnic groups, etc.) must be particularly represented.

The Center for Change Management (CCM) addresses these topics, and the opinions from the research provide practical and precise recommendations for improving the situation in public administration in the Republic of North Macedonia, with a special emphasis on the delivery of results by institutions. a key factor for gaining trust among users.
