From 18 to 19 January 2023, the CCM was part of the Sharjah International Traditional Crafts Forum (SITCF), organized by the Sharjah Heritage Institute, under the slogan "Carpet and Textile" with participation from 18 countries. The forum was organized at the Sharjah Technology and Innovation Research Park and aimed to bring together the traditional and the modern. This forum was visited by numerous pupils and students who could get to know directly the cultures and traditions of each of the 18 participating countries. In this way, creativity was awakened among young people to think about how to use and at the same time preserve the cultural heritage while creating innovations. The institute stressed the importance of the technological development of the country, but at the same time expressed the desire that it derive from the cultural traditions of the countries.

The CCM, with the support of the RSM President's Cabinet and the RSM Embassy in the UAE, presented traditional textile products from the Berovo region and promoted women artisans who still maintain the Macedonian tradition.
