CCM and the partners in a humanitarian mission during the pandemic of COVID 19

Date: 17.04.2020

As part of the "Microenterprise development project for women in the cross- border region", women entrepreneurs, together with the team implementing it, faced a new challenge, how to adapt the production process to the new needs of the market, but also the modified way. of life in accordance with the measures for protection against COVID 19.
A well-planned crisis management can mitigate the effects of the virus-induced crisis. Guided by that goal to help vulnerable groups of citizens, but also to strengthen the capacity to produce and sell women entrepreneurs who are part of this project, the project team allocated funds for the production of 9,600 face masks.
The fashion salons run by Zelje, Svetlana, Salije, Maja, Daliborka and Jule, have been involved in this activity, reorienting their production towards making cotton protective masks according to the current needs of the citizens.
The ultimate goal of this action is to donate the listed products in the cross-border regions Polog and Elbasan, in order to better protect the citizens and prevent the spread of the epidemic. Thus, this project together with the women entrepreneurs directly contributed to the fight against the virus.
