Conference for signing grant agreement

Center for Change Management (CCM) Skopje in cooperation with the Institute for Human Rights (IHR) under the joint project "Investigative Journalism - the guardian of democracy and human rights", financed by the European Union threw the program to support civil society and freedom of media 2014 and co- financed by the British Embassy in Skopje announced a call for grants to civil society organizations (CSOs) for activities in the framework of the grant scheme of the proposed project.

On 11.11.2016 (Friday) in the Elite Plaza hotel a meeting was held. The meeting focused on signing of contracts with selected NGOs, which also represented the first coordination meeting were the rules of implementing the grants and ways of monitoring and reporting were explained.

According to the criteria announced in The Call, eight grants for encouraging investigative journalism and strengthening the capacities of civil society organizations working in the field of freedom of expression, independence and integrity of the media, democracy and human rights were selected.

Grants will be implemented from 15.11.2016 until 05.15.2017.
