On the 29th and 30th of May 2019, we organized a policy-making, analysis and evaluation training for representatives from the departments of the Ministry of Education and Science.
The training is being implemented within the project 'Support for evidence-based policymaking in the education sector', funded by the United Kingdom Government, with the support of the British Embassy Skopje and implemented by UNICEF MK through the Center for Change Management.
The purpose of the training was to provide participants with the knowledge and skills for effective planning in the process of public policy making, improving their policy-making skills (creating a vision for change, evidence-based analysis, scenario definition, decision-making, management risk and policy assessment) and improving business effectiveness through the use of policy and action-making tools through objective selection, clear communication and objectivity in the implementation of solutions.
The program builds on the experiences of one of the most renowned institutions for capacity building of public administration - the National School of Government of Great Britain.
In the coming period we will provide trainings for the Ministry of Education and Science in order to improve the analytical skills through the use of data.
