The workshop aimed at helping students become familiar with the structure for creating information, monitoring and evaluation of the implementation of policies from Chapter 23rd. The workshop shared past experiences and discussed future challenges and dealings with possible risks in the implementation of the projects.  Special attention paid at the workshop lead to sharing of regional experiences of the screening process in the counties from the region during the accession negotiations threw presentations of associates of the project, in other words: European Institute Foundation from Bulgaria; Institute Alternative Montenegro and European Policy Center - CEP Serbia.

The workshop was directed at members of civil society organizations which are part of the grant scheme in the project: “Network 23” and which are directly or indirectly related to the monitoring and evaluation of public policies in Chapter 23, through the realization of their projects - an integral part of the grant scheme. Each of the participants gained knowledge about the structure of Chapter 23, the establishment and construction tool MERC, the methodology for creating information, evaluation and database monitoring of accession negotiations. In addition, participants needed to develop a plan to monitor and deal with unforeseen situations of their own projects.
