Job Position: Project Assistant and Public Relations Officer

The Center for Change Management (CCM) needs the involvement of a Project Assistant and a public relations officer for the needs of the Poject for Development of Micro Enterprises owned by Women in the Cross-Border Region". The project is supported by the Delegation of the European Union and implemented within the "Cross-Border Cooperation Program between Macedonia and Albania for 2014 and 2015" with a focus on the Polog and Elbasan regions.

The main task of the Project Assistant and Public Relations Officer is to assist throughout the implementation of project activities and tasks and to perform all tasks related to public information and communication with beneficiaries and target groups, as well as relevant institutions. Under the guidance and supervision of the Project Manager, the Project Assistant will assist the project and take care of the overall visibility of the project and maintaining public relations.

Key duties for the position:

Provides assistance and support in the coordination and implementation of project activities and the implementation of the project work plan and budget;
Covering issues related to the public relations and visibility of the project in accordance with EU regulations and requirements and organizing appropriate activities for better visibility of the project;
Creating effective messages about project goals and outcomes and delivering them to a wider audience and specific project target groups;
Organize ongoing information exchange activities with stakeholders, including media and relevant institutions at national and local level;
Works together with other team members to assist the project manager in achieving the projected goals, results and impacts and provides necessary administrative and logistical support to the project team;
Assumes project administration responsibilities in accordance with EU regulations and procedures;
Participate in other specific project activities and prepare reports if necessary.


Qualifications and work experience

Higher education in the field of social sciences and / or journalism;
Knowledge and experience in project implementation and communication and public relations;
Work experience of 2 years on the same or similar work, preferably on EU projects;
Knowledge of administrative and office work;
Knowledge and use of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint);
Excellent English language skills (speaking and writing);
Strong administrative and organizational skills as well as flexible approach to work;
Good soft skills (communication, teamwork, responsibility).


The position is foreseen full-time with a net compensation of 25,000MKD and all paid contributions as part of the employment for the duration of the project up to September 2020 and the opportunity to continue within the same or similar position within the organization.
