Author:

year: 2017

The Center for Change Management (CUP) researched the opinion of the citizens regarding the state and public administration, ie (1) how professional is the administration and free from the influences of the political parties ?; and (2) what is the quality of the services that citizens receive from the administration as one of the indicators of its efficiency? The perceptions and attitudes of the citizens in this segment are an important indicator of how the general public perceives and experiences the administration and what should be the guidelines for improving the situation in this area. The research report provides an overview of the political and social developments in the Republic of Macedonia regarding the employments that marked the period from receiving the candidate status of the country for EU accession (2006), until today. The first part of the report deals with the analysis of the perceptions and attitudes of the international community expressed through the progress reports of the country. This part of the analysis focuses only on those aspects that speak to employment in the public sector. The second part of the report covers the field research, precisely nation of the perceptions of the citizens of the Republic of Macedonia on the impact of political parties on employment in public administration and satisfaction with the quality of services as one of the key indicators for efficient and effective public administration.
