From May 30 to 31, 2022, at the Resource Center for Gender Responsive Policymaking and Budgeting, the CCM conducted the basic training on gender, gender equality and the introduction of the gender perspective in public policies, led by Iskra Belcheva Ristovska and Branka Mincheva Kocevska.

At the training, the participants got acquainted with the basic concepts of the field, the tools for including the gender perspective in public policies, the types of gender policy and the cycle of policy making, etc. entry points for the inclusion of gender prospectively in the cycle of planned public policies.
Also, the practical students were introduced to the topic of the training through interactive exercises on gender statistics and gender indicators as well as advocacy strategies for gender equality.

The resource center works as part of the Ministry of Labor and Social Policy supported by UN Women Skopje within the project "Promotion of gender responsive policies and budgets: towards transparent, inclusive and responsible management in the Republic of North Macedonia".
