Center for Change Management took part in the workshop "Working with Data for Beginners", which took place in the capital of Poland, Warsaw on October 9th and 10th.
The workshop was part of a project organized by the network of non-profit, IT, and media organizations, TransparenCEE and the non-profit organization Techsoup Europe.
Their work is focused on creating a space and platform for sharing ideas and practical solutions across national boundaries and different sectors.
Analyzed were the meanings of quantitative data (not just numbers) for the work of public officials, parliaments, local and national budgets, public procurements and all others that are used to increase the transparency of the public sphere and make it more resistant to corruption and other types of abuse. The workshop lasted two days.
Civil society activists from many countries from Central and Eastern Europe and the Western Balkans took part in the training.
