Public administration in all parts of the world, even in our country, faces constant pressures and challenges to innovate and improve its effectiveness and efficiency. It does this by finding new ways to improve the quality of work, including ways to create a vision for the changes that need to be made, constantly improving staff, and improving employee motivation. Therefore, the work commitment / engagement and the motivational factors that make it up were the inspiration for this empirical research, conducted in the administration of the Republic of Macedonia which tried to support the thesis with arguments that the commitment of employees in social administration is one of the key conditions for more effective social policy. The thesis starts from the postulate that the improvement of each of these motivational factors is vital for the progress of the social administration and is a condition for more effective social policies. In interpreting the results, the thesis addresses the impact of each of the factors that make up the overall job commitment index, considers the key problems faced by employees in social administration and proposes measures to overcome them, in order to improve employee commitment. in social administration, and thus in the effectiveness of social policies as a whole.
