This policy paper is designed to explain the results from the "Microenterprise development project for women in the cross-border area" supported by the IPA cross-border funds of North Macedonia and Albania for 2014-2015 and implemented by the Center for Comparative and International Studies
(CCIS) in Albania in cooperation with partners from North Macedonia. The project focuses on the cross-border region of Polog (North Macedonia) and Elbasan
(Albania). The purpose of this paper is to briefly present the results of the project on strengthening women entrepreneurship in the region of Elbasan through the development of their IT skills and
communication technologies (ICT). The recommendations presented in this document are based on evidence which means that they are based on concrete experience and insight
acquired during the implementation of project activities
