Programme goals

Effective data processing can make a huge contribution to decision making, policy and measure analysis, research and more. Modern software tools make it easier to create and process data sets. The participants in the training will have practical work on a computer so that they can acquire technical skills for creating and processing data sets.

The goal of the program is to acquire skills for making data sets based on collected information and data, and techniques for different data processing models using Microsoft Excel.

At the end of the training the participants will:

  • Recognize different possible data sources
  • Be able to design data set structures
  • Gain techniques for validating data entry and processing
  • Be able to use Microsoft Excel to create and structure data sets
  • Gain technical skills for processing data sets using Microsoft Excel functions

Iskra has extensive experience in managing projects financed by the European Union in Macedonia, mainly for the development of institutions of public administration and supporting reforms aimed at EU membership. She was part of the management team of the contracting authority for IPA, where she was responsible for the functioning of IPA structures in the beneficiary institutions, capacity development, establishment and operation of the decentralized implementation system of IPA,quality control of tender documents and procedures, conducting numerous tender evaluations and coordinating all Twinning contracts.
