Programme goals

In everyday life and work, people are constantly in a position to attend various meetings, which end in endless discussions.

Facilitating skills are essential for team, group and organization work.

The aim of the training is to gain practical knowledge and skills for facilitation, time management, conducting effective meetings and directing discussions in order to find common solutions, conclusions and agreements for easier implementation of the plans.

Contribution towards development of knowledge, skills and competences

At the end of the training the participants:

  • Will gain in-depth knowledge that will enable people in the group to participate in joint decision-making and decision-making.
  • Will gain knowledge skills and attitudes about: applying facilitation tools (active listening, summarizing, drawing, feedback, conclusions);
  • Will be able to prepare for quality discussions and meetings,
  • Will understand the importance of the effectiveness of discussions and meetings in everyday practice.
  • Will be able to set goals for the meeting, manage the time of the meeting, apply the decision-making process and lead and encourage discussions using facilitation skills.

  • Facilitation skills (paraphrasing, summarizing, encouraging, collecting ideas and opinions, establishing order and balance, creating space)
  • Meetings: content, procedures and process (group dynamics) - Effective meetings
